Responsibilities
Conduct new and revised safety analyses for postulated accidents using RELAP5
Assess the impact of plant and core design changes on existing safety evaluations
Support development of methodologies for new fuel products, licensing needs, and regulatory changes
Contribute to the automation of tools that improve analysis efficiency
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results to clients
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with light water reactor (LWR) systems and transient thermal-hydraulic behavior
Experience with system codes such as RELAP5, TRACE, TRAC, RETRAN, CATHARE, PARCS, SNAP, or LOFTRAN
