$20/hr - $24/hrJoulé is seeking a Laundry Wash Lab Technician to support laundry product performance testing through hands-on lab activities. The role involves executing routine test methodologies, preparing test materials, and generating accurate data for analysis.
Responsibilities
Support laundry product performance testing for prototype evaluation and advertising claim substantiation
Execute routine testing methodologies, including stain removal and softening tests, after training
Follow standard operating procedures for washing, drying, staining, and test preparation
Prepare test materials independently, including labeling fabrics and towels and preparing stains
Operate laboratory instrumentation and automated equipment
Coordinate with test requesters to confirm product details and testing requirements
Ensure stains are prepared, applied, and evaluated accurately and consistently
Generate and compile test data for review by scientists
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the wash lab
Assist with inventory management and stocking of laboratory supplies
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of good laboratory practices
Mechanical aptitude
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred
Prior hands-on laboratory or technical work experience
