Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Develop and implement DevOps strategies to optimize system performance, scalability, and security
Work closely with development, security, and IT teams to align DevOps initiatives with business objectives
Establish best practices for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment
Design and manage cloud-based (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises solutions
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or other tools
Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or similar tools
Enforce security best practices, including vulnerability management, compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001), and access control
Work with software development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Promote DevOps culture by advocating for automation, continuous delivery, and feedback loops
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
8+ years in DevOps, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/management
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog)
Understanding of security best practices and compliance
Preferred
Experience with Kubernetes security (RBAC, network policies)
Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
Strong problem-solving and decision-making
Excellent communication and collaboration
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
Passion for continuous learning and development
