Vice President of Business Development
FinTrust Connect is a community-focused regional banking institution, and they are seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to expand commercial relationships in central New Jersey. The role involves sourcing new clients through strategic referral networks and driving growth in commercial deposits, cash management, and lending solutions.

Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of Centers of Influence (COIs) to source new commercial relationships
Lead prospecting efforts, including networking, telemarketing, and attending industry events
Partner closely with Market Managers, Retail Banking, and Lending teams to deliver full-service solutions
Analyze and present complete loan packages, including company financials, credit write-ups, and pricing recommendations
Participate in internal sales meetings and provide market feedback to leadership
Maintain awareness of competitive activity and industry trends
Qualification
Required
5+ years as a Business Banking Officer in a commercial banking setting
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; formal credit training a plus
Proven success sourcing and managing commercial relationships >$5MM revenue
Strong knowledge of commercial deposits, cash management, and lending products
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
