Technical Customer Advocate / Product Support Specialist
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Technical Customer Advocate / Product Support Specialist to support customers by resolving technical issues and delivering practical solutions related to water chemistry products. This role involves customer interaction, technical troubleshooting, and light laboratory work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and helping others succeed.
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding product usage, testing results, and troubleshooting
Document and track customer interactions; manage follow-ups as needed
Analyze and summarize customer interaction trends on a monthly and quarterly basis for leadership review
Review and support development of technical content for websites, marketing materials, trade publications, and presentations
Investigate and recreate unusual or unexpected testing results through laboratory experimentation
Conduct studies on new and existing products; analyze and summarize findings
Assist with product calibration and resolve technical issues as they arise
Support cross-functional projects for Customer Experience and Research & Development teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing procedures and product performance
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a technical work environment
2+ years of experience working in a laboratory setting
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand guidance for entry-level users and homeowners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, positive, and customer-focused mindset
Comfortable collaborating with technical and scientific teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred
Associate's degree in Chemistry or a related field
Experience providing technical training or support
Familiarity with water chemistry, pool, or spa-related products
