Responsibilities
Assist in data collection and analysis to identify process improvement opportunities
Assist in the preparation of month-end financial reporting for SMG staffing expense, general expense, and headcount, including budget and forecast to actual variance analysis
Support the SMG budgeting and forecasting processes by streamlining and managing templates and aggregating data
Assist the FP&A team with a variety of special projects including, but not limited to, reporting, financial analysis, data validation, and process re-design
Support Sales Tax by pulling and indexing returns, reviewing past-due notices, and assisting with data migration
Capstone Project
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled at a 4-year university as a rising sophomore or junior majoring in Finance or Accounting
GPA: 3.2 or higher
Preferred
Advanced skills with Excel and Power BI
Fast learner with the ability to implement and streamline reporting from various data sources
Problem solver with advanced analytical skills
Results-oriented, ambitious, and organized, with great attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with team members across various functions and with operating businesses
