Responsibilities
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise batch processing and scheduling systems
Manage batch job execution, monitoring, and workload automation to meet SLA requirements
Work with project and operations teams to design and implement batch job schedules
Define and manage job dependencies, triggers, calendars, execution windows, and priorities
Monitor job execution, track progress, and identify errors or performance delays
Troubleshoot and resolve batch failures, CI/CD issues, and migration-related incidents
Provide on-call support for critical batch incidents and production issues
Analyze and optimize batch schedules for performance and efficient resource utilization
Perform application upgrades, installations, patching, and configuration activities
Maintain batch scheduling systems, including updates, security patches, and system configurations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure smooth batch integration
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with application upgrades and installations
Minimum 6 years of experience managing batch scheduling tools, including patching and configuration
2–3 years of hands-on experience with Redwood RunMyJobs, including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience managing enterprise batch workloads in production environments
Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on reliability and automation
Preferred
Experience with batch scheduling tools such as IBM Tivoli Work Scheduler, Control-M, or ActiveBatch
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and related operating systems
Scripting and automation experience for job scheduling and monitoring
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
