Responsibilities
Responsible for offshore service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on wind turbines
Active safety leadership when onshore, on board the Service Operations Vessel (SOV), in the turbine and in the Wind Farm - ensuring correct reporting of incidents and accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts and conditions
Provide excellent service to our customers
Working safely and effectively in a team of at least 2 people
Ability to work a flexible work schedule is required, along with the ability to analyze and resolve issues independently and efficiently
Ensuring compliance with SGRE standards and U.S. legislation in relation to EHS, Quality and Service delivery
Qualification
Required

The candidate must demonstrate strong initiative and motivation to learn new technology and translate learning into personal success
Relevant work experience, ideally within the wind industry, is preferred or demonstrated knowledge e.g., electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, maintenance/troubleshooting in a military, industrial or automotive industry
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. An electrical and/or mechanical education would be preferable, but not essential. Open to candidates in near completion of technical degrees/certifications
Physically and mentally able to work suspended from heights and in confined spaces
Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations
Must pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner to ensure ability to safely perform the job functions and meet the physical demands of the position
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred
