Mid LevelFynite Corp. is seeking a Government Contracts, Business Development & AI Specialist to support the growth of their U.S. government business. This role combines federal opportunity identification, business development, proposal support, and AI/technical alignment to expand Fynite’s government footprint.

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and track federal opportunities via SAM.gov (RFI, RFP, RFQ, task orders)
Support early-stage capture activities , including opportunity shaping and solution positioning
Assist in go/no-go decisions based on business fit, technical feasibility, and risk
Help articulate Fynite’s value proposition to government customers and partners
Support development of relationships with agencies, primes, and strategic partners
Review solicitations, contracts, SOWs, and amendments for scope, risk, and compliance
Support proposal development, including technical, AI, and solution narratives
Evaluate federal acquisition requirements and relevant FAR / DFARS clauses
Ensure proposals align with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria
Assess alignment of AI, ML, data, and automation solutions with government needs
Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compliant, customer-facing language
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to shape solutions for government use cases
Support internal understanding of government technology, data governance, and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience with SAM.gov and U.S. federal contracting
Experience supporting business development, capture, or proposal efforts
Proven ability to review contracts and SOWs
Hands-on familiarity with AI, machine learning, data platforms, or automation
Understanding of federal compliance, data governance, and technology requirements
Strong written communication, organization, and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with AI, data, cybersecurity, or IT-focused federal contracts
Familiarity with FAR / DFARS
Proposal or technical writing experience
Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
Exposure to partner-led or prime/subcontractor government engagements
