Responsibilities
Research existing product designs to research redundant components to streamline and optimize designs
Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify opportunities for component commonization
Analyze and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Conduct simulations to evaluate the feasibility of component substitutions
Proactively participate in testing of 3-phase systems and troubleshooting activities, taking initiative while seeking guidance from senior engineers as needed
Maintain thorough documentation of designs, simulations, and testing processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Hands-on experience with 3-phase systems, electrical testing and troubleshooting, including independently identifying and resolving common circuit and system-level issues
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. (IEC and/or NEC Codes)
Experience as an individual contributor in a practical area such as design, validation, simulation, factory acceptance testing
Familiarity with basic electrical engineering principles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with using testing tools: oscilloscopes, power analyzers etc
Sound understanding of electrical components and systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with circuit simulation tools such as SPICE, Saber for validating design changes and component substitutions
