Research Assistant Professor
The University of Florida is seeking a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics. The successful candidate will lead and collaborate on data-intensive research projects involving real-world data, advance methods in biomedical informatics, and support the department’s growing research portfolio.

Responsibilities
Lead and support research projects focused on real-world data analytics, health outcomes modeling, and biomedical informatics
Develop and apply advanced statistical and machine-learning methodologies to address complex health outcomes
Contribute to the design and execution of research studies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation
Prepare and submit research proposals to secure external funding
Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences
Mentor graduate students and contribute to the academic mission of the department
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field
Demonstrated expertise in outcomes research and real-world data analytics, with a strong publication record
Proficiency in advanced data analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative research
Preferred

Experience with NIH-funded research projects is highly desirable
