They are seeking a Senior Account Executive who will work with clients in advertising, marketing, media, and tech sectors, securing press coverage and managing a team of account executives and interns.

Responsibilities
Work with clients in the advertising, marketing, media and tech sectors
Actively secure press coverage for clients; network and build relationships with key media, arranging and leading client interviews
Assist with strategy development and implementation of public relations and marketing programs
Build and update targeted media lists
Manage and supervise the work of account executives, account coordinators, and interns and provide edits on work including media list creation, coverage reports, pitches and social deliverables
Provide clients with counsel on pitches and PR strategies
Assist account supervisors and managers with developing strategic documents such as program proposals, bylines, positioning documents and competitor audits
Write PR materials including pitches, press releases, strategic plans and op-eds
Collaborate with VP of digital strategy on social recommendations that align with PR plan objectives and elevate our clients
Write social copy amplifying secured PR placements, and sharing strategic messages to support PR efforts
Qualification
Required
3-6 years of PR / corporate comms experience and a BA/BS OR 5-8 years of PR/ corp comms experience
Track record of success pitching media
Excellent organizational skills
Comfortable working with a remote team
Love for writing & media
Love for creativity, culture and trends
Meticulous attention to detail
Experience leading client calls and presentations
A knack for identifying what stories and trends will resonate with trade media
Preferred
Social media experience, especially in LinkedIn, a plus
Excel/Google Sheets data analysis experience a plus
