Responsibilities
Act as senior engineering liaison for select customers, providing technical leadership and problem-solving support
Partner with Product Development and customers to bring new products to market, including ownership of tooling, jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing documentation
Lead creation, review, and optimization of work instructions and controlled manufacturing documents
Create, review, and approve drawings for accuracy prior to controlled release
Analyze and improve line flow, capacity, and manufacturability of existing products
Drive manufacturing optimization initiatives, including yield, cycle time, and cost improvements
Support and lead FMEA activities and risk mitigation efforts
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standardization and best practices
Work effectively within ERP and Quality Management Systems in an ISO-regulated environment
Qualification
Required
B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience (medical device or regulated industry preferred)
Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (modeling and drawing creation)
Hands-on experience conducting computer-based FMEA analyses
Demonstrated experience creating and editing detailed work instructions with strong attention to detail
Proven track record of manufacturing process optimization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience in customer-facing technical roles
