Responsibilities

Lead design and programming efforts for industrial printing and CNC finishing
Program CNC cutting and finishing equipment for accurate, efficient production
Operate and manage wide-format equipment for substrates like vinyl, fabric, foam board, and specialty materials
Actively participate in day-to-day workflow with design and production teams
Oversee projects from initial design through production completion, ensuring quality and efficiency
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks; track and report key metrics
Maintain organized files and production data to enable easy setup and accurate tracking
Collaborate with production teams to ensure consistency and quality
Troubleshot design and programming issues to maintain workflow efficiency
Mentor junior team members and share best practices
Stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies

Required

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and design tools (Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD, Mastercam, Lightburn, Caldera RIP, Fiery, etc.)
Strong understanding of industrial digital and screen printing processes and wide-format production
Solid background in design and CNC operation
Creative problem solver and technical expert capable of leading projects from concept to completion
Comfortable working with clients, vendors, and manufacturers
Leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and support team development
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design OR Associate's degree with equivalent experience in fabrication, design, print production, or CNC management

Preferred

Technical certifications in print production, CNC operation, or Lean/process improvement are a plus
