Represent clients in complex litigation involving data privacy, cybersecurity incidents, and technology-related claims
Handle privacy-focused regulatory investigations and enforcement matters
Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and compliance considerations related to data protection
Manage professional liability and technology errors and omissions disputes
Work closely with clients to assess exposure arising from data breaches and cyber events
Collaborate with other litigators and subject-matter professionals on multi-disciplinary matters
Provide strategic counseling on privacy laws and technology transactions in the litigation context
Qualification
Required
Significant experience handling complex litigation involving data privacy and cybersecurity matters
Senior-level understanding of U.S. privacy laws and regulatory frameworks
Strong background in litigation, investigations, and professional liability matters
Prior experience at a reputable law firm, typically 7+ years of practice
Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters independently and work collaboratively
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
Deep expertise in privacy laws, cybersecurity incidents, and technology-driven disputes
Ability to advise clients on technology transactions and related litigation exposure
Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Client-focused mindset with the ability to handle sensitive and high-risk matters

Portable book of business of approximately $350K preferred, but not required
