Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs using Go
Implement robust data validation, error handling, and API security practices
Plan and execute database migrations, schema updates, and performance optimizations
Test AI-powered coding models in Cursor within real development workflows
Submit detailed incident reports, bug traces, and screenshots
Participate in intensive multi-day testing bursts evaluating AI impact on coding
Collaborate with research teams via Slack and structured feedback loops
Provide post-testing surveys and insights on model performance and developer experience
Qualification
Required
Strong years of professional backend development experience with strong Golang expertise
Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Solid understanding of backend security, validation, and error handling
Hands-on experience with database migrations and performance tuning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear technical reporting
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, confidential, remote environments
Preferred
Familiarity with AI coding tools; experience with Cursor is a strong plus
