Design Services
Responsibilities
Overseeing projects from conceptual planning through completion of construction as it pertains to electrical power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm design, and other low-voltage communications systems
Development with Clients for new construction and renovation projects; preliminary cost planning and scope development; production of contract documents; bidding and construction administration services
Coordinate with Clients as well as other design and engineering consultants to ensure complete and coordinated electrical design documents
Assist in developing relationships with new clients and participating in company interviews for prospective new projects
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be a licensed professional engineer in South Carolina, or other state with the ability to obtain licensure in SC
Proficiency in Project Management and Expediting tasks to ensure successful and on-time project execution
Experience and skills in Inspection to uphold quality standards and compliance
Expertise in Logistics Management and supply chain coordination
Strong technical background in electrical engineering, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM360 software
Ability to manage Arc Flash Studies and utilize SKM software
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Previous experience in a similar role in engineering or project management is required
Preferred
Knowledge of fire alarm, data, security, and communication system designs is an advantage
