Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation documents
Conduct detailed legal research and factual investigation
Manage traditional and electronic discovery, including document review and production
Assist with or independently take and defend depositions
Appear before state and federal courts on behalf of clients
Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams on strategy development
Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and objectives
Support trial preparation and participate in hearings, arbitrations, and proceedings
Qualification
Required
Three (3) to six (6) years of commercial litigation experience
Excellent academic credentials
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Admission to and good standing with the California Bar
Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and meet deadlines
Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to case management
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Professional judgment and a client-focused mindset
Preferred
Experience in a mid-sized to large law firm environment preferred
Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus
