Responsibilities
Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including business disputes and related claims
Provide legal advice and strategic guidance throughout the lifecycle of litigation
Conduct thorough legal research and factual analysis to support case strategy
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation documents
Attend and participate in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop and execute case strategies
Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes
Manage multiple matters efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations
Qualification
Required
0–10 years of commercial litigation experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Active Illinois and/or Missouri law license in good standing
Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
