The role involves decommissioning and setting up workstations, supporting device replacements, and managing inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

Decommissioning and setting up 1,000+ workstations
Standard cable management
Testing and validating devices after setup
Supporting end‑of‑life device replacements and new builds
Environment growth from 150 to 400 users by year‑end
Device refreshes, imaging, and rollout of new machines
Assisting with asset management and inventory tracking (limited existing support)
Hardware wiping and proper decommissioning
Full site shutdown
Coordinating a technology “garage sale” with e‑cyclers for bulk equipment purchasing
