Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft high-quality written work product
Prepare demand letters, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Manage large-scale document collection, review, and production
Handle all phases of discovery, including motion practice and strategy development
Participate in trial preparation, courtroom proceedings, and arbitrations
Supervise and mentor junior associates on complex case teams
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal teams
Collaborate across practice groups on multi-disciplinary litigation matters
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation
Demonstrated experience with intellectual property disputes, including trademark and copyright matters
Strong academic credentials from a top law school
Admission to the New York Bar in good standing
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top law school
Advanced legal research and persuasive writing capabilities
Experience drafting sophisticated litigation documents
Ability to manage large document productions efficiently
Proven leadership skills and experience supervising junior attorneys
Strong collaboration and client-facing communication skills
Preferred
Federal or state supreme court clerkship preferred
