Clinical Education Manager

Cycle Pharmaceuticals is a growing company focused on rare metabolic, immunological, and neurological genetic conditions. They are seeking a Clinical Education Manager to provide case-level support to patients and healthcare providers, ensuring patients receive optimal treatment education and support.

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support for patients on metabolic therapies
Deliver patient motivational interviewing programs, sharing insights with senior and executive leadership teams
Partner with departmental leadership and wider Clinical Education team to create and lead dietary/nutritional program to accompany drug regimen
Maintain an effective call schedule for patients and HCPs, meeting performance goals
Guide patients through reimbursement and financial support options
Collaborate with Cycle Vita Access Specialists to provide providers with guidance through the insurance authorization process
Support smooth therapy transitions to Cycle products, including new starts and switches
Provide product specific training and education, including dose administration (Nityr, Javygtor, Harliku and any new products launching in the Metabolic space) in-person at patients’ homes and clinics or remotely via the phone/video/app
Act as a Patient Concierge, building strong relationships with patients/caregivers and promoting treatment adherence and check ins
Partner with Rare Disease Account Managers to manage relationships with providers and to help them understand the Clinical Education function and Cycle Vita services
Respond quickly to patient and office inquiries with a compassionate, customer-first approach
Represent Cycle Vita at patient support events and relevant industry conferences

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in health sciencesRegistered DietitianExperience in rare diseasePatient access knowledgeCase management skillsEmotional resilienceExceptional listening skillsVerbal communicationWritten communication

Required

Bachelor's degree in health sciences and/or Dietetics and Registered Dietitian
Strong proven experience working in a rare disease within a clinical setting
Deep understanding of patient access, hub services, specialty products in rare disease space, reimbursement, adherence programs and patient assistance programs
Experienced/trained in Compliance risks associated with Manufacturer-based nutrition programs
Strong case management background with skills to liaise with all areas of patient support services and capacity to assist patient/caregiver with prescribed therapy and provide clinical training
Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and execute on business deliverables as well as work with cross-functional partners (Sales, Market Access, Marketing, Compliance) across multiple projects
Individual must possess and portray strong emotional resilience, a positive attitude, exceptional listening skills and strong verbal and written communication skills to work with internal and external customers
