They are seeking a Configuration Technician I responsible for configuring, imaging, and preparing IT equipment for deployment, ensuring devices are properly installed with the required operating systems and applications.

Responsibilities

Configure and prepare tablets, laptops, and desktop computers for deployment

Perform device imaging and application installation based on company standards

Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues

Ensure devices are functioning properly and meet configuration requirements

Maintain accurate records of equipment setup and configuration status

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of configuration tasks

Follow all safety protocols and maintain organized workspace

Qualification

IT support experienceHardware configurationWindows operating systemDevice imagingCommunication skillsTeamwork skills

Required

1–3 years of experience in IT support or hardware configuration

Working knowledge of Windows and other operating systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow configuration procedures

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to stand for extended periods during device setup

Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs of equipment

Preferred

Experience with imaging tools or device management systems

Familiarity with asset management or inventory tracking

Basic understanding of network connectivity setup
