Business Development Manager
MRSL Group is a global powerhouse in electronic component solutions, specialising in bridging supply and demand across OEMs and independent distribution. They are seeking a Strategic Hunter to join their brokerage team, focusing on new client acquisition and managing complex commercial negotiations.
Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure new accounts in OEMs, CEMs, and tech distributors
Pipeline Management: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure; maintain accurate CRM records
Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Market Intelligence: Track trends in electronic components, monitor availability, pricing, and competitor activity
Negotiation & Commercials: Lead pricing discussions, LTA negotiations, and margin optimisation
Technical Awareness: Conduct BOM analysis and advise clients on component sourcing strategies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in independent distribution/broker/franchised components sales
Strong hunter mentality with a track record of exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable negotiating at senior levels
Deep understanding of hard commodities: Memory, CPU, FPGA, SSD, Power ICs, and Passives
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
UK-based, with flexibility to travel for client engagement
