Responsibilities
Design, develop, debug, and test web-enabled interfaces for DSS products
Enhance existing product features, build new modules, and contribute to new product development
Participate in project planning, product maintenance, system enhancements, and rapid issue resolution
Mentor junior developers by sharing technical expertise and best practices
Serve as the primary development point of contact for one or more projects
Adhere to established development and documentation standards
Provide timely technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, version notes, and user guides
Communicate effectively across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams
Travel occasionally (up to 25%) based on business and client needs
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Must be able to pass a Federal background check
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must have proficient experience in professional software development
Hands-on experience developing web applications
Strong proficiency with: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, C#, .NET, Delphi, SQL Server
Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
Strong attention to detail
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
6+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications
Preferred
Experience designing or developing EHR or healthcare software
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under tight deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong organizational skills and the ability to identify and remove barriers to progress
Master's degree in a related field
MCSD or equivalent advanced certifications in Web or Mobile Application Development
Other relevant software engineering certifications
