Director/ExecutiveDaksta is a well-established, privately held commercial general contractor based in Baltimore, MD, seeking a President as part of a deliberate succession planning initiative. The President will assume full executive responsibility for day-to-day operations and long-term strategic direction, overseeing all facets of the business including construction operations, business development, and financial performance.

Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the organization
Oversee all construction operations, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and profitability
Lead, mentor, and retain senior leadership, project teams, and field personnel
Drive business development and maintain strong client relationships within the local market
Maintain financial oversight, forecasting, and full P&L accountability
Align preconstruction, operations, and field execution
Preserve and strengthen company culture, values, and market reputation
Partner with ownership on long-term growth planning and leadership transition
Qualification
Required
Senior leadership experience with a commercial general contractor (President, COO, VP Operations, or similar)
Strong background delivering ground-up and TI projects across commercial and institutional sectors
Demonstrated ability to run a construction business, not just individual projects
Experience working for large-scale organizations of 150+ people
Good job tenure
Experience and relationships in the Maryland area
