Responsibilities

Service customers at the Huntersville Express office in the registering of their vehicles in the state of North Carolina
Issue license plates
Issue crash reports
Provide customers with the purchasing of their driving or vehicle registration records observing the Federal Privacy Act guidelines
Accept payments for driving license penalties and/or fees
Perform other duties assigned by the manager as required for the functionality of the unit

Required

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Technical and administrative skills
Extensive knowledge of the General Statutes, policies, and procedures that govern the issuance of a North Carolina title
Experience with DMV Customer service in Vehicle Services
Working knowledge of North Carolina vehicle titles issuance
Experience issuing license plates, crash reports, dealer/salesman licenses and inventory
Ability to issue license plates, issue crash reports, and provide customers with the purchasing of their driving or vehicle registration records observing the Federal Privacy Act guidelines
Ability to accept payments for driving license penalties and/or fees
Ability to perform other duties assigned by the manager as required for the functionality of the unit

Preferred

Experience with a personal computer and mainframe databases
Experience operating a calculator, workstation laser printer, fax machine & copier
Experience recording, compiling, summarizing & analyzing data
Experience reviewing information to determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, or regulations to resolve a complex or special processing matter
Experience explaining & interpreting policies, regulations, & programs
