The role involves providing technical leadership, planning, and daily coordination for a team of Front End Software Engineers while ensuring high-quality frontend delivery aligned with product and business priorities.

Responsibilities

Lead daily planning, coordination, and execution of frontend development work for the CosmoLex product
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 8–10 Front End Software Engineers
Translate product requirements and technical designs into clear, actionable work plans for the frontend team
Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and coordination with cross-functional teams
Ensure consistent application of frontend best practices, coding standards, and UI/UX guidelines
Review code and provide constructive feedback to ensure performance, scalability, accessibility, and maintainability
Partner closely with Product Management, UX/UI, Backend Engineering, and QA to deliver high-quality releases
Identify risks, dependencies, and resource needs, proactively addressing blockers to maintain delivery timelines
Support production releases, defect resolution, and ongoing frontend performance improvements
Contribute hands-on to frontend development as needed while balancing leadership responsibilities

Required

Proven experience leading or mentoring frontend engineering teams in a SaaS environment
Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar
Experience coordinating work for multiple engineers and managing day-to-day development priorities
Solid understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, and state management
Experience collaborating with backend teams and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs
Strong ability to translate business and product requirements into technical execution plans
Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide, coach, and align a team
Experience working on complex, highly regulated SaaS platforms
Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
Experience partnering closely with UX/UI designers to implement consistent user experiences

Preferred

Prior experience supporting enterprise customers or mission-critical applications
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Ability to handle stress
Ability to meet work deadlines
