Director of Sales

Irontown Modular is looking for a Director of Sales to manage and oversee the sales team. The role focuses on strategic leadership, team management, and driving revenue growth in the modular construction sector, particularly for multi-family and hospitality developers.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategic plans to achieve sales revenue goals
Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals
Set ambitious but achievable sales targets and KPIs for the team
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry standards to adapt positioning
Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs
Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets
Lead, mentor, and manage sales managers and representatives
Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new sales talent
Motivate the team, assign territories, and manage compensation plans
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
Manage the sales budget and resources
Ensure the sales process supports a seamless customer journey
Partner closely with marketing, product, finance, and customer success teams
Align sales efforts with broader company objectives
Report sales performance, projections, and insights to executive leadership
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners

Required

Experience in selling new construction projects
Experience managing a sales team
Experience with multi-family and hospitality developers

Experience in analyzing market trends and competitor activities
Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
Experience in effectively communicating value propositions
Experience in overseeing sales forecasting and pipeline management
Experience in managing sales budgets and resources
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, finance, and customer success teams
Experience in reporting sales performance to executive leadership
Comparable experience in Regional Building Material product sales, Architectural and Design Sales, Construction Software regional sales, or other new construction/development related sales positions
