Responsibilities
Perform civil design work (site plans, grading, utilities, stormwater, etc.)
Visit and oversee multiple job sites and ensure compliance with plans and standards
Act as a point of contact for contractors and clients, responding to questions and resolving issues quickly
Coordinate construction administration tasks
Work independently to manage time, site visits, and in-office responsibilities based on project priorities
Prepare and maintain detailed field reports and project documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; candidates with construction administration experience and civil design background will be considered
1–4 years of experience in construction administration and civil design preferred
Proficiency in civil design software, AutoCAD Civil 3D
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Analytical skills for performing engineering calculations for design, analysis, test, and implementation of facility related systems
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members of diverse experience levels and educational backgrounds
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
Experience developing drawings, specifications, test procedures, and maintenance/training documentation
Self-motivated and organized, able to manage own schedule and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills—regular interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams is a key part of the role
Awareness of OSHA safety requirements for active construction sites
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (mileage reimbursement is provided)
Preferred
1–4 years of experience in construction administration and civil design preferred
