New Grad, Entry LevelPlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an individual to perform failure analysis and troubleshooting for VLS components used by the USN and supported foreign navies. The role involves electronic maintenance, repair, and overhaul, including setting up test apparatus, conducting tests, and making modifications to electronic equipment.

Responsibilities
Perform failure analysis, troubleshooting, perform repairs and retest VLS components to bring these components into Code A condition for use by the USN and supported foreign navies
Use a variety of standard and unique tooling to accomplish electronic maintenance, repair and overhaul
Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences
Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications
Adjust and calibrate systems as required; modify electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches
Correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed
Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties
Determine types of tests to be performed, approve and suggest modifications to testing equipment, and analyze test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment
Assist engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
