Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to messages from patients, referring providers, and internal staff, addressing questions, clarifying information, and coordinating appointment or procedural requests
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments across GI and colorectal subspecialties, ensuring accuracy of patient demographics, insurance details, and referral information
Schedule procedures for all subspecialty providers, including communicating preoperative requirements, providing prep instructions, and following up to ensure patients are prepared for their procedures
Follow up with patients and providers regarding upcoming appointments, procedure status, or missing information to support continuity of care
Identify opportunities to improve communication workflows, reduce delays, and enhance the overall patient and provider experience
Qualification
Required
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
Preferred
Prefer a minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a Medical Office Environment
Prefer a Bachelors degree in management, healthcare administration
