Responsibilities

Managing a team of test engineers, including recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, and career development
Communicating technical status and issues internally to program and functional leadership, as well as externally to customers
Supporting Program Status Reviews (PSRs) & Design Assurance Reviews (DARs)
Supporting test equipment hardware and software upgrades as needed
Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
Collaborating with production teams and suppliers to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting
Works closely with the technical leads on program to ensure appropriate staffing and resources and makes certain that appropriate reviews are conducted to ensure engineering excellence
Develop and implement process improvements to increase test efficiency and effectiveness
Responsible for oversight of engineers who will perform some integration and testing activities
Candidate must be comfortable coordinating with various groups to ensure program requirements are being met and in support of various test activities
Collect feedback and provide performance appraisals and identify training development for direct reports
Develop/maintain knowledge continuity plans for key resources

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen
Final secret clearance required to start

Familiarity with design, integration, analysis, verification, and validation activities
Familiarity with RF Chambers, Radar concepts, and Flight Hardware
Experience performing proposal/BOE development and man-power estimation
Experience with MS Project
Control Account Management (CAM) experience
