Responsibilities

Help identify early customers and map out a strategy to engage in meaningful dialogue, which ultimately evolves into value-creating customers
Perform customer interviews and devise learning experiments to run to help feed the product or service design and specification
Proactively contribute your expertise, experience, and network in developing the concept
Rigorously analyze the opportunity in a team setting
Help to develop a quantitative business plan from the concept stage
Ensure pilot customers are being cultivated and secured for entry into market
Assess and acquire useful capabilities from the Company and other third parties to help further the overall business
Act as external spokesperson for the new product or service
Keep the team moving at pace with a clear understanding of deliverables and timelines

Required

Previous experience in roles with demonstrated track record of software, digital product, and/or business management responsibility
Time spent in customer facing roles (e.g., consulting, sales, or sales support)
Execution oriented individual that understands and can apply lean startup thinking, facilitate complex projects, and oversee teams
Exceptional people skills and the demonstrated ability to gain confidence, build rapport, and drive consensus with team members
Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, fluid environment
Ability to work within a consensus-driven environment
A willingness to do what it takes to make the client team successful – there is no job too big or too small

Preferred

Previous experience working at a start-up
Past roles working at, or consulting to, global enterprises, ideally in a strategic role
Domain-/subject matter-expertise relevant to the specific Innovation Accelerator project
Consumer digital experience design
Consumer software product management
Client customer support/customer experience
Data science and Client data systems
AI/ML experience
DERs, EVs, heat-pumps, smart meters
Client economics/finance
