The technician will assist with acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing of electrical systems while supporting senior technicians and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Assist senior technicians in performing NETA-certified testing on transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, cables, and other electrical equipment
Follow established safety protocols including arc flash protection, lockout/tagout procedures, and job hazard analyses in compliance with NFPA, NETA, and OSHA standards
Operate and maintain commissioning tools and test equipment under supervision
Assist with documenting test results and project activities using mobile-based CMS tools (or similar platforms)
Support project teams in completing electrical testing and commissioning tasks on time and to specification
Qualification
Required
Current NETA Level I or Level II certification (or working toward certification) with relevant electrical safety training
Basic knowledge of electrical testing procedures and safety practices
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn advanced testing techniques
Good communication and organizational skills
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in industrial environments
Preferred
Prior experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or maintenance is preferred but not required for Level I
Experience using or willingness to learn mobile CMS tools for project documentation
