Responsibilities
Establish, maintain and monitor schedules, budgets and staffing for projects
Mentor and train employees
Responsible for creating and executing business plans for the group
Responsible for marketing NV5 to NCDOT, Charlotte DOT, local municipalities and other potential clients to obtain new contracts
Participate in professional associations and societies
Work with Southeast Transportation Director to achieve department goals
Complete other assignments as determined by the SE Transportation Director
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
North Carolina PE license, or ability to obtain within 3 months
Minimum of 15+ years experience in transportation engineering
Minimum of 5 years of previous management experience or 10 years of project management experience
Minimum of 5 years with business development within the transportation market
Previous NCDOT project experience, local municipalities or other state DOT
Experience in managing projects and leading project teams
Knowledge of MicroStation and OpenRoads software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver's license prior to employment
