Responsibilities
Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency
Review and code invoices to ensure proper account allocation
Handle payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and manage check runs
Collaborate with team members to support financial operations for two managed companies
Utilize construction industry software, including Spectrum Viewpoint and Yardi Breeze
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all payment processes
Maintain organized records of transactions and support audit preparation
Assist with additional accounting duties as needed to support the team
Contribute to a positive work environment and foster strong team relationships
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounts payable or similar roles within the construction industry
Proficiency in financial software, including Spectrum Viewpoint and Yardi Breeze
Strong understanding of invoice coding and payment processing methods
Familiarity with ACH payments and check run procedures
Ability to work 100% onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Adaptability to handle varying tasks and support a dynamic work environment
