Responsibilities

Serve as the primary administrator for the Unica Campaign and Unica Plan modules, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security

Perform regular system maintenance, including monitoring server health, managing user access and permissions, and implementing best practices for platform configuration

Manage Unica-related databases, schemas, and tables, performing regular cleanup and optimization tasks

Oversee the management of Unica listeners, ensuring seamless communication between front-end clients and back-end processes

Monitor and troubleshoot system logs, error messages, and performance issues to proactively address potential problems

Manage Unica partitions and security policies to ensure data integrity and access control

Lead and execute the end-to-end Unica platform upgrade process, including planning, testing, and deployment

Develop comprehensive upgrade plans, considering in-place upgrades vs. fresh installations and managing the migration of existing objects (flowcharts, templates, etc.)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, database administrators, and marketing, to ensure a smooth and successful upgrade with minimal business disruption

Provide expertise on new features and functionalities in newer Unica versions and advise on how to leverage them for business benefit

Act as the primary point of contact for Unica-related technical issues, providing timely and effective support to marketing and business users

Work closely with campaign developers to troubleshoot flowchart issues, performance bottlenecks, and data-related challenges

Collaborate with database teams to optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient data extraction for Unica flowcharts

Provide training and guidance to junior administrators and end-users on Unica best practices and new features

Implement and maintain Unica security policies, user roles, and permissions to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

Manage and encrypt user and database credentials within the Unica platform

Conduct regular security audits and maintain a secure and compliant Unica environment
