Kalitta Air is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to assist the Director of Operations in overseeing the Flight Operations departments. The role involves coordinating safety management systems, ensuring compliance with policies, and promoting safety procedures throughout the operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating implementation, integration, and maintenance of Safety Management Systems (S.M.S.) throughout the OCC and Flight Operations

Ensure policies and procedures are documented in appropriate areas and communicated efficiently

Ensure all flight operations are conducted at the highest level of safety

Assist in developing, reviewing, revising, and obtaining required approvals of flight operation manuals and bulletins

Promote and maintain safety procedures throughout Flight Operations

Report regularly to the DO on matters relating to Flight Operations

Assist in monitoring electronic flight bag (EFB) releases and currency

Continually improve the level of safety in Flight Operations and the OCC

Comply with all applicable regulatory requirements

Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and other third parties

Assists with A, B, and C OpSpecs application, custody, and maintenance

Assists with Pilot new hire process
