Project/Program Manager IV (Contingent)
Amazon is seeking a Project/Program Manager IV to serve as a strategic force-multiplier within a dynamic design studio. This role involves orchestrating key studio operations, managing budgets, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a thriving community culture, while collaborating closely with various teams.

Responsibilities
Partner with business management, studio strategy, leadership and operations teams to oversee and manage day-to-day studio operations
Drive planning and execution of monthly studio meetings, annual summits and other studio-wide events
Create and maintain communications including monthly newsletters and evergreen documentation such as wikis and organizational charts
Lead design evangelism programs across the organization, strategizing and executing open house events while evolving initiatives to meet changing business needs
Oversee third-party budgets including outsourcing, tooling and research, creating and tracking purchase orders and providing financial reporting to stakeholders
Drive planning and execution of special projects that support executive goals and vision
Act as liaison to drive efforts across broader organizational and community initiatives, participating actively in employee engagement and innovation teams
Initiate and project manage key studio efforts to foster community and culture including rituals, learning series, onboarding, and department health initiatives
Oversee executive visual design resources, managing intake requests and facilitating sprint planning
Qualification
Required
6+ years of design program management experience
Specific experience with design operations or creative teams
Budget management experience
Event planning experience at scale
Experience working with executive leadership
Background working in collaborative multi-disciplinary teams
Design program management expertise
Project management tools proficiency and adaptability to new systems and technologies
Design operations and creative team collaboration
Budget management and financial oversight
Large-scale event planning and execution
Project playbook development and schedule management
Issues and risks management
Communication planning and stakeholder management
Executive leadership collaboration
Multi-disciplinary team coordination
Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities
