Responsibilities

Teaching two courses per year (1:1 load), research, and service
Complementing and building on existing strengths in the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program and Department of Biology, including cell and molecular neurobiology, the biology of aging and neurodegeneration, behavioral and systems neuroscience, neurological disease modeling, and developmental neurobiology
Developing a rigorous externally funded research program and participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching and mentoring in the areas of their expertise

Required

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology, or a related field with an outstanding record of research in Neuroscience
