Power Systems Postdoctoral Researcher
Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a well-qualified Postdoctoral Research Associate in Power Systems Engineering for the Power and Energy Systems Department. This role focuses on power systems dynamic and transient modeling, machine learning applications, and involves writing scientific manuscripts and presenting research results at conferences.

Responsibilities
Ideation, planning, coordination, and implementation of power systems projects
Qualification
Required
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or comparable disciplines
PhD requirements must be completed by commencement of appointment and within the previous 5 years
Demonstrated oral and published written communication skills in English
Preferred
Experience with power system testing using digital real-time simulation environments and using power and/or controller hardware-in-the-loop
Electric grid operations experience, human factors for control rooms and/or high, medium and low direct current experience are also pluses
