Ceramic Shell & Melt-Pour Technician
Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. is focused on producing premium investment castings and is seeking a Ceramic Shell & Melt-Pour Technician. This role involves building shells, dewaxing, executing metal pours, and finishing parts for inspection, all while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Monitor the robotic dip line; make timely slurry/viscosity adjustments
Apply basic robot functions to maintain steady cell throughput
Transfer completed shells from the dip cell and run the boilerclave to remove wax safely and efficiently
Patch shells as required to protect dimensional and surface quality
Load dewaxed shells into the burnout oven; assist with unloading for pour operations
Handle and pour molten metal into fired molds with precision and adherence to procedures
Perform part knockout/removal and clean castings to prepare for inspection
Wear proper PPE, follow all safety protocols, and maintain a clean, hazard‑aware workspace
Other duties as assigned; actively support BCT's Culture and Core Values
Qualification
Required
2+ years in a foundry or metal casting environment (investment casting preferred)
Experience with ceramic mold preparation, wax pattern handling, and molten metal operations
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in high‑temperature conditions
Demonstrated precision and quality focus across the casting lifecycle
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the team
