Staffing Coordinator (CNA)

Responsibilities

Develop and post schedules at least two weeks in advance
Ensure timely Certified Nurse Aide (CNAs) assignments to meet the needs of new admissions and existing residents
Facilitate the timely completion of paperwork and data entry pertinent and necessary to fulfill job duties. Maintain a system for tracking CNA annual license renewal and OBRA compliance
Notify the Director of Nursing (DNS) of short staffing situations; contact replacement personnel, and modify schedules when required
Keep a pool of replacements and coordinates vacations and time-off
Communicate staff assignments to managers and staff

Qualification

Required

Possess a CNA Certification in state employed
A typical candidate has three months of prior nursing assistant experience in long-term care
have the ability to obtain BLS and CPR certification
