They are seeking an Electrical Designer (CAD/BIM Technician) to join their Food & Beverage group, focusing on CAD tasks and electrical design documents.

Responsibilities

Serves as the main point of contact for all CAD related tasks on assigned projects

Uses computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare electrical engineering and design documents

Assists with design computations and quantity estimates

Assists with preparation and/or modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and/or designs for projects

Responsible for task-specific quality system tasks as defined in quality manual

Maintains technical competence on software features, company standards, and best practices

Subscribes to the company’s technical blog

Other duties as assigned

Required

Associate degree (or higher) in computer aided drafting (CAD) or related field from an accredited institution

If no degree, between 2-15 years of relevant professional experience

Preferred

Experience with power plan designs (480V and below)

Experience with lighting plan designs

Experience with control panel design

Experience in power equipment specification (substations, MCCs, PDPs, LPs)

Experience with AutoCAD & Rockwell Automation

Previous experience working in food & beverage facilities
