Review real estate title documents and oil & gas contracts, identifying and analyzing chain-of-title issues
Calculate ownership interests (surface, mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, working interest)
Draft title opinions and related oil & gas documents
Prepare various title documents and transactional contracts
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills
Active law license and good standing in Texas, New Mexico, or Louisiana
Preferred
Experience drafting title opinions preferred but not required
