Calling and speaking with homeowners (warm and outbound outreach)
Educating them on why electric bills are increasing
Explaining how the solar savings program works in simple terms
Qualifying homeowners based on basic criteria (homeownership, bill amount, etc.)
Setting appointments for the next step in the process
Outbound Prospecting
Prequalifying homeowners
Obtaining a copy of homeowners utility bill
Setting quality appointments
Qualification
Required
Strong English communication skills
Comfortable speaking with homeowners over the phone
Reliable internet and quiet home workspace
Coachable attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently
Comfortable speaking with homeowners over the phone for extended periods of time
Ability to remain positive, focused, and professional through rejection
Strong rapport-building skills and the ability to create genuine connections with prospects
Coachable mindset with the ability to follow scripts and feedback
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace
Self-motivated with strong time management and consistency
Preferred
Sales, call center, or customer service experience is a plus (but not required)
