Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory of products and supplies on hand

Responsible for the purchasing, receiving, and sales of all inventory and special-order items to respond to product needs and maintain seasonal material levels for warehouse and truck-based inventories at the best price available, and in 'just in time' fashion

Anticipate potential inventory shortages or excesses and notify the Inventory Control Manager

Order new product and supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive supply

Process and maintain all inventory related records using the Company’s established technology systems, including documenting daily deliveries and sales to update inventory and setting pricing for items received

Maintain key inventory: ensure all keys are properly checked in and out and accurate records of these transactions are maintained using the established Company procedures

Oversee FIFO inventory receiving and sales processes demonstrating a conceptual understanding of costs and pricing under the FIFO model
