Electrical Engineering Co-Op

Responsibilities

Assist in design and bring-up of prototype hardware, including PCB layout, wiring diagrams, and integration
Develop and run test scripts and diagnostics, analyze results, and support hardware debugging to the component level
Participate in electrical system evaluation, assist software team with test setup, and validate performance through hands on testing
Develop and maintain clear documentation—such as wiring diagrams, BOMs, and test reports
Adhere to industry standards (e.g., NEC, ANSI) and internal quality protocols during design and testing phases

Required

Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline (Electronics, Control Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, etc.)
Practical exposure to circuit design, PCB layout, or hardware testing—class projects or lab experience
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and documentation rigor
Effective verbal and written communication skills; dependable and proactive team player

Preferred

Familiarity with SPICE, Altium, or similar tools is a plus
Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or Linux is a plus
