Responsibilities
Direct accountability for the results of Feed Mill Operations including, but not limited to quality, costs, personnel, safety, housekeeping, maintenance and customer service
Work with senior management to provide process efficiency improvements and changes to the manufacturing systems
Ensure government regulation compliance with the FDA, OSHA, EPA etc
Acts as SME for Production Managers related to Feed operations
Manage and oversee manufacturing operations, from feed ordering to mill management
Develop and implement ration formula and selection processes, as well as ingredient selection and research to ensure optimal feed quality and cost
Develop and implement biosecurity protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
Qualification
